Life in the city is often busy and fast-paced. We may encounter moments of disappointment when we least expect them. In those moments, therapy can open a bright window on a cloudy emotional day — offering you a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Whether you’re seeking to be heard, to untangle your feelings, or to embark on a deeper journey of self-exploration, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

About Me
I grew up in Guangdong, China, and later went to the University of Hong Kong to study Psychology. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. Having lived in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and now New York, I have experienced diverse cultural environments and the challenges that come with living far from home.

These experiences allow me to deeply understand the struggles of cross-cultural
adaptation, family expectations, interpersonal relationships, identity formation, and academic or career pressure. I would be glad to accompany you on your journey to find balance and strength amid change and uncertainty.

My Counseling Style
As a trilingual counselor (Mandarin / Cantonese / English), I strive to create a safe, equitable, and compassionate therapeutic space where you can express yourself freely and at your own pace.

I see emotions as an essential part of the human experience — often complex, tangled, and
difficult to name. When our thoughts and feelings intertwine, we may only sense the restless, anxious, or heavy states they bring, without fully recognizing what lies beneath. Therapy, to me, is a process of gentle introspection — sitting quietly in a safe and supportive space to observe, explore, and understand these emotional threads, gradually learning how to coexist with them. I would be honored to be your companion and listener throughout this process.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic principles and influenced by psychodynamic perspectives. I pay close attention to how early experiences, cultural background, and personal meaning shape our ways of understanding ourselves and connecting with others. At the same time, I integrate cognitive and behavioral techniques when a more structured approach may be helpful — tailoring the process to what best supports your growth and healing.
