Sissi is a Chinese counselor resident at Mind Connections. She offers counseling services in both English and Chinese Mandarin. Born and raised in China, she has been studying and living in the U.S. for years. Sissi offers therapy to help you work through challenges in life, such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, family issues, burnout, adjustment difficulties, and stress management.
While pursuing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at New York University. Sissi has worked as a Chinese counselor to help teens and adults better understand and navigate romantic, familial, and professional connections. With a warm, thoughtful, and attentive approach, Sissi will guide you in developing healthier boundaries, getting out of stuck in recurring patterns, and adjusting to major life changes such as school, career shifts, or
relocation. Whether focusing on personal identity or managing life transitions, Sissi will collaborate with you to create a more fulfilling and balanced life.
To better assist you in your healing journey, Sissi integrates CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic based on your unique backgrounds and individual needs. In her therapy sessions, Sissi creates a warm, understanding, and empowering space where you can feel truly heard.
