Jocelyn graduated from Columbia University with a double master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Spirituality, Mind, Body practices. Dedicated to helping people in their wellbeing, she received specialty training in holistic approaches to healing. In addition, her undergraduate degree in Psychology from NYU prepares her with a solid foundation in understanding mental health.
Having grown up in multiple countries in Asia and then moving to the United States, Jocelyn is familiar with the challenges associated with cultural identity, relationship issues, and family conflict. As a bicultural and trilingual therapist (English, Chinese Mandarin, and Cantonese), Jocelyn has experiences providing culturally sensitive individual and family psychotherapy. She has worked with adults, children, adolescents, and families with a wide range of psychological struggles, including anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship conflict, stress management, self esteem and confidence, ADHD, and interpersonal skills.
Jocelyn believes that meaningful therapy requires trust and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Passionate about empowering her clients, she assists her clients to enhance their understanding and personal growth. In providing individualized therapy services, Jocelyn takes a holistic stance. She integrates multiple evidence-based approaches, such as Person-Centered, Mindfulness, CBT, REBT, Psychodynamic, Positive Psychology. With a warm and collaborative style, she strives to provide a safe and trusting space to support you.
